For a little firefly, the day just goes by

but at night in the moonlight, when they glow

you can be the witness of a wonderful show!

Be patiënt my darling, I know your time will come

live your life as you always do: shning like the sun.

 

First I made the watercolour.

Then I wrote a verse to it and handlettered it in the watercolour

when we came home from our holiday I put music to the words and wrote some more so I had a song. I improvised on the big piano while singing it.
